The Midwives Association of Kenya is an emerging professional body representing the midwives workforce. The Association is determined to revitalise the midwifery and its future profession in the country. Established in 2016, the Midwives Association of Kenya (MAK), is a not-for-profit member association, registered in Kenya under the Societies Act, registration number. 48354. MAK is a member of the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) and the East, Central and Southern Africa College of Nursing (ECSACON). MAK is also a member of the Kenya Health Professionals Society (KHPS).
